Man, the sun is shinning. You're prolly at work, i'm thinking of going to the beach n' a bit.
Apparently Janina is calling me in 25 minutes, so we will see that. I want to make cookies too.
I still can't get over all awesome that afro-munazi marimba band was, i hope i can buy a marimba one day, and then become uber impressive. When we go to vancouver, we should go see colin. I don't know how you feel about him, but i think hes awesome.

I hate to treat you like a mail order bride but I am happy you got a green thumb, yo, because that means our garden will be hella balls to the walls awesome. Or however it goes. My dad is outside in the garden dancing and tossing weeds over the fence. I can basically replace his head with yours and it will be like you're home already. I am peeing myself about getting to Victoria although I just realized that I haven't even got a bed yet and have no idea where to find one... can you order that kind of stuff over the internet?
Wanna go halfies on a scooter/ moped? I saw one parked in someones front yard with a for sale sign and it has two seats! It will be like Rome!
And you should come to my house around seven next thursday. I'll maybe bake a cake
Anyways I biked home from Quali last night and then swimming in the ocean with our friend. I have to say it was the best time all week.

All my shoes are dirty.

My lady, all can say is that i'm excited to get home. Though the travels home is going to take forever, i'm leaving at 4 in the morning from thundah b'eh, just to get to that airport in time, to take a plane to toronto, to wait two hours there, then to take a five hour plane (can i say two movies and a half?!) to vancouver, and then to wait three hours, to take a lovely 20 minute plane home. How i envy that comming day.
Bearded French Men are annoyance in my life at the current moment, what i told you on the phone, just recently restarted, and then ended. Again. All i can say is that it's 6 days away. Six days away.
My second-cousin phoned me today, started out the conversation with a english accent, and telling me he's watching me, and then "hah.. all jokes, feel like going out for coffee?" I turned down the offer, as i was busy, but maybe tommrow?
I'm working 5 hours each day at this community garden, weeding, and turning compost and making it look tight, and might i say, tightness is what has been brought.
Hope the good life is treating you nice,
see you the 19th.

These Arms of Mine

My parents have a mysterious and persistent disease in which they cannot stay in the room once the kettle has been put on. I am drinking a blueberry flavoured Growers which is actually as bad as it sounds. Surprise! It's also lavender coloured, which is definitely disconcerting. My parents are going to a disco party tonight. More than a little jealous. But at the same time relieved that I am not being prodded into going.
It actually rained today. Like full on, drown the flower-beds rain. It better not be one of Those Augusts.
Tomorrow is day 3 of 10 days straight work.

When our mouths are filled with unenvited tongues of others

Oh man Shark. Too much fun on this end. Leigh's whole family was here from Friday to Wednesday and was suprisingly good times. I guess because we aren't all awkward and puberty-y anymore. But my one cousin is going into film acting in Toronto and she was telling us about this independent horror film that she was in. She was this hick-chick addicted to heroin that gets stabbed. My other cousin and her husband came too and I haven't seen them in aaaages. (As in, never met the husband) but they are actually pretty awesome. They were in a band for a while called the Terribly Empty Pockets but they decided to settle down. She's doing her doctorate in phorensic anthropology- basically looking at people's teeth from the ancient times and telling things about there lives, like what they ate. She's teaching a class at Ohio State university. Can you beleive? Except she got food poisening on the ferry over so I barely got to talk to her. Her husband gave me a high-five the first time we met. He works at a coffee shop while his wife teaches at a university. He's still doing his undergrad while she gets her doctorate. Nutty.

And I found out that my grandmother was a nun for a little while AFTER she divorced my grandfather- which is also after having six kids. They sent her over to India before she took her full vows and they had to send her home early beacause she was so malnourished, she kept giving her food to the orphans and wouldn't eat anything for herself. When they shipped her back they only sent her to London so she had to call my 18 year old aunt, a college student living with her friends to try and get money for a plane ticket. WHAT?

It was pretty crazy times. I met my other cousin's boyfriend who is directly out of Oxford, England. He does this weird thing where he opens his eyes wide and looks from side to side when he's joking. We think that that will be the next wedding. What a keeper

Anyway, my mom's family likes to describe everything as beautiful "how's your book Nana?" "Beautiful" "Wow this is a beautiful meal" "And his wife was so beautiful"

They also over-use the word "eh"
Jasmine came over and she goes "there is a lot of people here that look like your mother"

Its even better then port alberni, but yeah.
We've volunteered at pow wows and now a drag race, which looks promising, except its really funny. I was talking to my dad last night, and he briefly mentioned i have family here, in this town of 1500 people, named alan p. and i asked a bunch a people yesterday about him, and they all went crazy and started saying "oh yes i know him", so thats that.

I bought danny deckchair for five dollars in marathon, a city about an hour and 20 minutes away.

And now i am just waiting for the shower.

no working out

So for some reason I thought it would be a great idea to show up two hours early at Sabo's place. I'm in victoria for two days and have so far spent the most of it sitting on doorsteps (or in this case patio area littered with cigarette butts and mountains of empty beer cans) waiting. I even brought her a tall double latte, which she loves and I really dont.
Anyway your town sounds vaguely like Port Alberni, but with beaches. Really can't believe you will be here in 3 weekish. Can we make the rule of not inviting Sabo's nasty acting friends over? It looks to me like all they do is smoke and drink beer, but I guess I haven't been in the house yet

Hey there,
i'm now living in a town of roughly 1600, and the town next to it is then roughly 800. The mill shut down ages ago, and now 60 percent of the town is unemployed. Its a weird place, never gets hotter then 25, intense fog, beautiful beaches called northshore, private beach, and pump something or another. Its crazy fog always, and i was working at a golf courses yesterday it the backdropped looked like fucking new zealand.

It took 24 hours to get here.
shit man.

Good job on the couch.
Ill talk to you soon!! calling or such.
