It's always been your quiet brilliant heart

SO! Today is Wednesday but it is also Friday if you know'my sayin'. Today in Ditch records:
Manager talking about the door that is broken: about old ladies getting trapped halfway. Says something about how he loves his grandparents, and hates it when stuff like that happens. He went on to say that young people, on the other hand always tried to swing the door and stride in and the guy behind me who is browsing the LPs says "Young people suck" and then looks at the toddler in the stroller next to him and says "Except you, you're ok" I suddenly realized how young I am.
I mean seriously. I got my whole life ahead of me and so far it is joy joy joy. Not to brag.
Chez, the new girl at work did Katimavik the same year you did and is thinking about Canada World Youth. Except right now she is at UVic for Hispanic Studies.
I'm thinking about biking to Vic West to pick up the remnants of Matt and Brett's food cupboard. Except then I will have to bike back with it and knowing them it will prolly only be frozen fish and heaps of crackers.
Maybe I will listen to the Crackling instead. You should too.

Take care
The name of this file was.."bill plays for bison". To say the least, I thought it was hilarious. Mind you world, lately I've been laughing at everything lately. Mortimer, do you know my retarded sick man laugh? It's returned, and my mind is just out of it enough, that everything is hilarious. Top examples of the last couple days?
- That above.
- This poster I painted for katelynn, my sister, that read " you're 17? The fuck you are." and hung it on the door outside of the house for everyone to see.

Anyways, Laura, I tried searching for exploding watermelons, but I wanted the action itself and not the article I've been reading a hundred times over. Have a link of actual exploding watermelons? Take care!
p-s, you're rabbit chewed my laptop cord, good news was, this was a free cord, bad news is i have to find another one.

Can't step off the cloud
Can I just admit something, right off the bat? I'm terribly jealous right now. That's not a positive emotion, but I read your posts about marimba adventures and conjoined apartments, and I think, man. I want to be there right now.Instead, I'm in limbo. Managed to reach a woman who knows something about this supposed job, and she said I'm still in, for sure. The season is apparently so late that they have been using D8 Cats to clear 10-foot snowdrifts for the campsites. However, because they haven't been able to start on time, they've lost some employees, so I should be ready to leave at a moment's notice. But I am not a master carpenter. I'm not a bowl cook. I'm scared.
What else? I've been hired to pick up sticks in a neighbour's vacant lot, and rain has been a-pouring down. 8 hours in, and I'm maybe? halfway done. But it's not bad. It's peaceful, and I'm exhausted by the end of the day, but in a good way.
Can you hear the depression seeping into these words? I'm sorry. But I want my own space, and the feeling that I'm doing something useful, and some assurance about this job and what it'll entail. Ah well. Lavender tea and pastry may be the solution.
Also, might be driving to PG on Sunday with a friend to meet up with Future Roommate for dinner. Check out the videos about Exploding Chinese Watermelons on YouTube.

I've got this bag of hammers

Good to hear things are spic and span with you Shark. Except the sick thing. I was going to hop to the walk in clinic on my way home from work today but the lady came out specifically to tell me that they were closed for lunch. Bitch.
Today I was pressured into making the executive decision to fire this girl at work. Think: two weeks ago I was an unemployed student type banging my head against the wall, today I am shooting from the hip at single moms with anxiety issues. All because Marketa didn't like her.
Went to another potluck where I only knew two people. Ended up talking to this guy named Leon from London (England) for about an hour as he explained the rules of cricket to me. The only thing I remember is you get 4 points for a ball that rolls across the line and 6 if it is in the air. And you run back and forth. Kat met this Kiwi girl at this other potluck last week, who invited her to this house that is supah- international and filled with twenty somethings wasting time working and drinking heavily in Victoria. They all met while skiing in Revelstoke in the winter. It was a little strange but also very nice to be around people who were so open and relaxed. It was in a duplex but they had cut a hole in the drywall between the two apartments so that they could walk between them. Except it looked like a mirror because the second half of the house is exactly the same. They called it Narnia over there. Someone was joking about wooly man creatures and awkward shower times.
I'm gonna go clean the bathroom. Didn't do any at work today so I think I can finally bear down.
sick sick sick sick sick sick sick sick sick sick sick ( to the tune of "to the dump" song.)

Turns out the marimba band is playing the "international children's festival" on granville June 1st. June 1st is persians man's birthday. I like when fate in the world works out like that, and I don't have to try my hardest to see him with the itch is just unbearable. Also can I say we have like 5 shows this one weekend in august? Ranging from Campbell river to Vancouver again? Nuts. Ahahah I'm only telling you guys this, because fahlon just filled up my facebook page with events for the next couple months concerning the band, and it's just busy times!
Today is my sisters birthday. Even with a lack of a voice, I'm finding means to annoy the shit out of her. I painted this huge picture and I'm planning to stick it above her head in her room and I have th job to finish up the desert for her tonight. She wants pound cake and whipped cream and strawberries. Thank god, somewhere in the world, strawberries are in season, and canada has chose to ship it to us her on vancouver island.
Anyways, I need to get back to crime shows and my orange juice. whaaaaaaaaou
