I'll be lucky if I last five days.
Listening to Battles. Laying half under my bed. Had the most spirit caving day at work today. Imagine making and serving 24 grumpy foreigners breakfast with one other person. No minions to serve the coffee and butter the toast. Imagine if one of these was a new mother who expected you to clean out her breast-milk sippy cup for her. And put this in the microwave for 66 seconds only, please. And how come OUR room doesn't have a towel rack. Ok rant out of the way, positive time.
I convinced Brett last night that he should be an architect. Makes sense really. Puts all of his skills to use. And now he can stop bemoaning the waste of his talents. I made breakfast like a race car driver this morning. My fingers a-flying like some mad breakfast ninja, like I was pulling that shit out of my pockets. And Kat and Sabo are both back, the estrogen is a flowing baby.

It's coming down.
Yup it's raining. And the tourists are holding me directly responsible. Yesterday a table of six (3 couples) made best friends over breakfast. It was really nice to see. They were literally laughing so loud that we couldn't hear each other in the kitchen. Usually it goes the other way.
I just washed dishes for an hour. My hands are unrecognizable.
And tomorrow I am starting a liver cleanse that is "bound to change my life." It's just because lately I've been sluggish and zitty and we all know what that is about. So if I am on here whinging about carrot juice snacks and my desperate needs for slices of chocolate cake you are welcome to barge in here and give me a good ol' punch in the kisser. I'm so super serious. I hate it when people complain about things that they are doing to themselves. Also I hate it when tourists take pictures of our war memorials, especially if they were on the other side of the war, Just Plain Stupid. I don't go downtown a lot.
I left my library card at the library yesterday. I have to go get it. Also thinking of getting a haircut. Since my hair is getting in the way of my lifestyle.
Shark. I think this is a better house for your way of life. Har dee har har

I like it.
I don't know about where you two are, but the rain is coming down hard. All last night it did. I finally gave in around 3:30-4h00 to just end up eating all bran miniwheats and giving into my headache a rest. It was loud, my room is all class and glass. I guess it worked out though, I went on facebook around 6:30 and discovered that my roommate from last year was online, and kicking it. We talked for a good hour and caught up the best we could. Mortimer and Laura, it's still raining.

There Will Be Snacks
Wooooooeeeee. Wrote two long letters today. Gotta send them off tomorrow. Also received a few things in the mail: LAURA. I love all of it.
Anyway. Not a whole lot new around these parts. Got swindled into going to the "Pride" fest yesterday afternoon by my boss and this other girl I work with. Apparently that automatically calls for wearing neon coloured wigs (mine was pink). As we were trying them on in the kitchen this German boy travelling with his parents wandered in, stared at us for a bit, then wandered out. Saw a drag queen singing the drag version of "Red Neck Woman" as sung by that annoying woman. (Let me hear a big HEEEEeeeeeeeeeey! from the drag queen girls like me) Also saw Will there, decked out in his most professional pinks, sipping a Sleemans in the beer garden.
I've been staying up too late lately and my brain is starting to crumble as a result. Tonight: hot chocolate and movies in bed.

That's dj mehdi's wife uknow?
Anyways the last week went by fast, we did marimba at the market and then the lovely city of parksville was throwing a movie bash and the movie Rio was playing, it was cute and I got to eat some really good taco pizza during it. Bad band news though, apparently the harddrive that held the many hours of us recording was dropped and everyone is in chaos. Good news though! The band has a bio on the harmony arts festival! sweet balls! http://harmonyarts.ca/ Take care girls!

She's Heard It On Cassette

Hi. Got back from Calgary on Sunday. Worked Monday. Worked Tuesday. Worked Wednesday. I think we are making fish for dinner though. And Kat's got this big shiny idea about making little goals/daily tasks for each other just to make life interesting. It could be cool to put them on here too, share that around a bit, like. But that would mean writing on here everyday- which I just can't guaranty, son. I've already been compared to a dead-beat Dad once in my life, thanks.
Would you like to hear what I am drinking? I will tell you: a refreshing blend of stolen mint leaves, half a lime, diced, and tonic water. I also added a tablespoon of sugar to help this medicine go down. It's basically a lazy man's mojito- I have no intention of standing up to walk the block to the liquor store.

flyiiiiiiiingoverseaaaaaasssss

A# being the flap that will flip down to protect the books from rain and snow? B# being me, enjoying the good life.
Anyways... I have to say, within this blog, there is a real lack of color. Mortimer you should be posting more pictures that contain something more then the shades. Lately, in my life, it's been random marimba. Some fighting with the parents, some arguing with cman and alot of eating of hummus. I soaked the beans myself and it made the smoothest homemade hummus of my life. Really nice. And seeing that the postal service is back up and running, I might be sending letters down yonder. (laura do you have an address??)
