This was my day.

This was my day mortimer. A mess. Work up to a annoying french radio, but the room is now all mine, because the charlottetown girl moved to the couch, but thats cool, because the couch is someplace id like to be too.

Todays been a shit day. Work was shit, and plus it looks like goodlooking persian man has deleted me from his facebook, fuck him, fuck the world. BEGH

oh the guy who taught us to make bread-

WROTE A BOOK

I like watching the puddles gather rain.

I haven't written in four days, which doesn't sound that long but feels like eternity. I'm trying to remember what I did last thursday but I am failing.

This morning though, I talked to most of my favourite people, in Canada and otherwise. I really do believe that I will be in Brazil this summer. Fo'real yo' Teeson is in this place that has the name of a fantasy land and apparently also gorgeous beaches. Cha-ching.

Last night I watched Finding Forrester instead of doing French homework like a good little girl. The Forrester character in that movie really reminds me of Mr. Standing, high-school english teacher in a school small enough that I could have him for english two years in a row. Maybe its just the beard and random life lessons that he tosses in.

off topic: lately I have really got into Noah and the Whale. This song off their most recent album, 'Blue Skies' is very sweet, as are most of their stuff but really : "this is a song for anyone who can't get out of bed" that was me yesterday, it was rediculously comfortable.

Still haven't got used to this time change deal. It feels slightly earlier than it is at all times. Like for instance, it feels like I still have an hour before class, but in reality I have to be there in ten minutes.

Welcome Fishies To My Hook

Hello hello hello. It's been a while. Or has it? Lately days have been flying by but at the same time yesterday feels like another lifetime. All I've been doing is knitting this peach scarf and scraping by on the homework front. It seems like I keep agreeing to go places with people, which results in me having no time to actually get shit done. I want to learn everything in the world, but I don't want to do it on a timelimit, or to be tested on it. I have taken to wearing eye makeup and swearing profusely. My room right now is covered in random pieces of paper and piles of books- tea mugs that have yet to be washed are strategically placed so that visitors to the room won't be able to see the insides of them. Tomorrow, I swear I am not doing anything I don't want to do, even if E insists its a night to get drunk and slutty. She has yet to learn that I don't really DO either of those, especially the slutty one; I mean, I wish Icould throw caution to the wind and get it on with a random but its not going to happen. Especially this time of month.

I have discovered that running with music makes all the difference. May I recommend 'It's All Gonna Break' by Broken Social Scene? It's 9:51 which is exactly the amount of time it takes for me to do a mile. Plus there is an epic trumpet section which arrives around the time that I have a little downhill stint, makes all the difference, let me tell you.

If my life consisted of going to classes but not having assignments, reading books for long hours, and going for long walks with people I love, I woud be absolutely content. At the same time though, I need inconsistency in my life. I need to have a breakdown one day, be on top of the world the next. You may be able to tell that I am a picky eater

EVERYDAY I FEEL THE SAME

So I am fiddling with my web cam to put off reading two chapters of classical mythology and have been doing funny things like focusing the camera on my fingers as I type and trying to figure out after what I have written. Real cool, right? I don't have anything all that exciting to say except today I had a midterm exam and I could not for the life of me remember the four senses of the word guru in sikhism. I don't know how anyone can have a religion that involves so much memorization of lists. Anyway, here is a picture I took of my eye.

My Love For You Is A Stampede of Horses

So yesterday the power on campus was out so I ended up wandering around town with Abby and her future roommate Milika (Dutch, in case you were wondering) We sat in two different coffee shops and rolled up the rim at the end of it. All in all though, I ended up sitting in the dark, racing this laptop to the end of its battery power and watching the sun fade behind the library. I didn't finish the essay I was supposed to write until twenty minutes before class, as per.

I,among many others, was disapointed that Sandra Bullock won the Oscar for best actress. Bullocks! I liked Carrie Mulligan soo much more, even if she is blonde in real life.

And I like the view from your window Shark. Guess what! It snowed here today for like an hour. Nothing was sticking though so Mother Nature gave up. I have a midterm about Sikhism and Buddhism tomorrow and have a feeling it will not go so well, considering I have done none of the readings. Plus I didn't finish Frankenstein, or read those Greek myths. How in hell am I going to pass anything this semester. Seems like I always do this kind of thing and end up coming out with an A- anyways. People tend to hate people like me. One day I am going to have to fail to teach myself a lesson. I am one confused little bunny

Tea and Orages Yet Again- but dont worry, i like it.

Early Morning Yet Again, But own you Know me Mortimer... Early is just my forte dans la vie, it's like when i went through that ridiculous faze of having to go for a hike everymorning, before the sun rise, just to see it rise, and i like how nicolle came with me one morning and then she lost her touque, that he lesbian best friend gave to her, while we bush whacking down a 90 degree hill, because the one we usually went down was mangled and gnarled up with fallen trees from a recent store and it was if anything, a good adventure. Except She lost her touque, and i had to do a complimentary trip just to find it. I did, and the world is good again.

I really don't know what i'm doing today, i know we have free time at some point. Yesterday this really nice girl (and i can't remember her name, god forbid me to do anything else for the week... seriously, she was this nice girl, 21 or something, doing envronmental studies and animation in school, sweet huh?) so she came and taught us how to make our own green cleaning supplies, using only a list of vinigar/soap flakes (which she bought for a 12$ for a good sized bag) and water and lemon juice to make everything smell nice. Nice huh? So guess what we are doing, once we are all living in that indie-victorian neighbourhood. ...

Umm... Other then that, not much has happened in the last 24 hours.. We went searching for this bagel resturant thing, but then we came back short and couldnt find it, after walkig around a freezing downtown area, so we took the metro back to the jerry metro, and had diner food and watched the hockey game (anaheim vs montreal) and then walked back freezing, but stuffed so full our eye sockets would be eventually fucked up.

Kudos to Levi cooking dinner everynight@!!!!!(that's my kudoes of the day...)

Good Morning Villeray-7:49am

Mortimer, oh Mortimer- please tell me you guy my message on your telephone. This morning, my throat (ma gorge) is hurting. So i'm sucking on halls, drinking yellow-lime-orange-pekoe- tea and just being half dead, meaning ill eventually go for a walk, hopefully Clean up the house the bit (because man oh man, I have some stories to tell you) and i'm hoping your Saturday night is just the same.

Did I tell you that they sell Wine and Maple Syrup in the same aisle? How Canadian is that huh. Super Canadian.

The picture up there is of what i see when i wash dishes every morning. Its nice huh?

El Conguero

My friend Sally just found out over facebook that one of her friends died. Can you imagine? Especiall with all of mine all over the place- it seems unreal. I would have a hard time believing it especially since: Shark is in Montreal touring circus schools

Zoola is in Victoria auditioning for this, that and the other thing

Tyson and Maddy are in Salvador, Brazil

Nicolle is in Itabuna, Brazil

Brett is at home but does not keep in touch

Janina is in Zurich, Switzerland, and is going to a ball tonight

etc etc etc

How would I find out if anything happened to these people?!

Anyways that is the crisis for the day. Plus I have to write a love story for french. Hm. And last night I went to my bro's house and made a nice root-beer float cake (thank-You Joy the Baker) And then we went to play pool and to this random open-mic cafe where we made jokes about Wyatt and Mike and Carter starting a band, and how I can be the Will Butler (useless percussionist, only there because related to the lead singer) and how Rose could eat calamari because squid want to be eaten anyways, and how poutine is the perfect combination of ingredients (it IS Laura!) And apparently Mike overheard some guy from Res talking about sharing dirty needles and he made is own little joke about how dorm kids are BADASS.

I am now listening to Poncho Sanchez and contemplating refilling my empty waterbottle. This afternoon I will go see Alice in Wonderland which I am feeling iffy about. Not sure I will like it, sure it will busy as hell in the theater. Sally is going to bring me dried mango from the bulk food place in Caddie Bay mmmm hmmmm

Friday, March 5, 2010

So heres the downlow tangerine pigtails (and world) today, we went to circus school for a little bit. And then we had lunch. And then, we saw this really random presentation on the environment and how this circus school is actually also, focusing on the environment. And how this random big area behind the circus school has like more then 21 stories (imagine building stories, "Oh the empire state building is so and so.. stories high.") deep of garbage underneath it. Meaning when ever it rains, the garbage works like a tea bag and infuses the water that passes through it, thus creating environmental problems for the natural and city life co-existing in this wonderful area. How are they fixing this you may ask? Well.. Yes you may. (bahahahhahahha) they are mixing oxygen with this bio waste water thus killing the harsh bacteria that might cause the world to eventually melt down. Apparently the bacteria were in a airtight world before they came into ours and when we give them this little present, it kills them. Making us the top of the food chain. Suckas. But isnt that a random thing to learn?
We then went home, played katimavik jeopardy, and then descided we were going to go explore something, so we just went downtown. And did not alot other then look and me being amazed by the big churchs, too bad i am not H core enough to hang out there on a sunday morning. :(
